Meditative drawings on Ordnance Survey maps contemplating a sense of place and memory thereof.
Drawings on Ordnance Survey maps with ink. Each map is inscribed repetitively and monotonously with a single word exploring psychological and emotional connections to different senses of space. The maps are all of areas of Wales, the land in which I grew up and have spent a lot of time since. The words used to explore these Welsh landscapes include those both in English and Welsh and include Anomie, Hiraeth, Soul, Enaid and Home amongst others.
