Description
A Soft Architecture of Eggs II is part of an ongoing series of needlepoint samplers translating the visual language of internet culture into slow, labour-intensive stitch. Each piece takes somewhere between 40 to 50 hours to complete – every egg evolving one stitch at a time.
These eggs aren’t for eating. They’re for pondering, giggling at, or gazing into until you question the meaning of breakfast. And possibly of everything else.
The sampler format is deliberate. It’s a form historically used to demonstrate skill and patience, repurposed here to ask what we’re actually practising when we endlessly scroll, repeat, and reshare.
One original. Framed with AR70 art glass, and ready to hang. I’m happy to answer any questions before you buy.
Dimensions: Approx. 415mm x 380mm x 40mm (framed)
